On a crisp, cool evening in Oklahoma City after the Thunder fell to the L.A. Clippers at the Ford Center I had the pleasure of watching one of the most lyrically gifted emcees to ever touch down in our budding metropolis.  Killah Priest of Wu-Tang fame ended his 30 date tour at the Conservatory joined by members of the Oklahoma hip hop organization “Puzzle People.”

I can’t lie, I was disappointed with the turn out, I know Sundays are rough for working people, but c’mon son…It was Killah Priest!  Whether it be promotion or lack of interest that had the club barely full, it is still good to see the people I see at most shows I’m at, and it has me wishin’ I could be at them all.  Maybe my five to fifteen dollars won’t make a difference in the long run, but I don’t ever want to think I didn’t try.

Chamillionaire – Good Morning – Venom February 2nd.

by McNastee on Nov.14, 2009, under Other

I’ve been a fan of chamillionaire for a long time, and have been jamming the Mixtape Messiah 4 bonus disc (39.99 new and 107.40 used?!!?!?) continuously for the last week.   Koopa leaked his own music video this week, and whether it was just a ploy to say “Universal doesn’t want you too see this yet” or not, remains to be seen.  It seems to be filtering quickly through the net and Universal doesn’t look like it’s pulling the plug on anyone who posts it.

Waking up everyday is a wonderful thing. I can’t be thankful enough for the people who are closest to me in my life right now. My employer has taken steps to make me a more effective employee for his company, my family is always supportive in my endeavors, and my friends are always looking out for me, have my best interests in mind, and try to keep me in good spirits. HEY! I Dig Thunder Basketball. (With Video)

by McNastee on Oct.25, 2009, under Other

At the first 2009-2010 OKC Thunder Preseason Game the promotion team asked me to participate in the Giant Trike Race.  I thought that will be cool, until they told me literally 5 seconds before I got ready to race that I had to shoot a basket.  I have bad depth perception like a Motha!  The best part about the video is my friends reacting!  Thanks to Amber, Big Slack, and iLL for cheering me on.  Also, you can peep super fan Zorgan a few rows in front of them in the orange headband and Weaver jersey.  Enjoy the race and my bricked lay-up!  BTW They also flash me on the big screen preparing for the race for a moment.

The inflatable mascots are incredibly entertaining to me, I don’t know why, they just are.  Air Rumble gives standard Rumble a run for his money when it comes to hilarity.  Here’s Air Rumble from the unaired game versus the Sacramento Kings on Oct. 22, 2009

I have a great time at the games and am looking forward to the 14 regular season games I will be attending.  I may update about the season or not, I’m not a sports analyst, just a fan.  I always have a great time at the games and really liked the renovations to the Ford Center, including the new places to get food (including near healthy stuff like salads!!!) and the shiny new scoreboard.
